George Washington Patriot Run

George Washington's Mount Vernon is pleased to present the 7th Annual George Washington Patriot Run on Saturday, September 10, 2022. We will again feature both 10-Mile and 5K distances so that everyone can take part, no matter how rigorous the training. The racecourse  includes both lanes of a 5-mile stretch of the George Washington Parkway from the GW Parkway Circle to W. Boulevard Drive, and back. 

 

All participants will receive a commemorative George Washington Patriot Run technical t-shirt and a spectacular finisher medal engraved with George Washington's bust. Awards will be presented to 1st place overall, by age division, and for the Military/First Responder categories.

The Finish Festival will offer music, food and beverage concessions, and a free beer for each runner. Thank you for choosing to run with us. We hope you enjoy the race!

Fast Facts

• Online registration will remain open until 7:00 am on Race Day.
• Free round trip shuttle service from the US Patent and Trade Office in Alexandria to George Washington's Mount Vernon will be available on Race Day.
• A limited number of reserved parking spots at George Washington's Mount Vernon will be available for purchase during registration.
• Kiss n Ride - participants may be dropped off at the Mount Vernon Post Office starting at 5:00 am on Race Day. The Post Office is a 3-minute walk from the starting line. No parking. Drop and go only.
• No in-person registration or in-person payment will be accepted at packet pick-up. Participants must register and pay online.
